"Kitty
goes to Hollywood":
This picture was taken when a new pet supply superstore opened in the
neighborhood in June 2009. Customers were asked to bring along their
pets and among other things, pets could have their picture taken. I was
one of only a few cats who participated in person! That way I was able
to show once more what a gifted model I am .... ready for the big
Hollywood career actually, don't you think? |
| Sometimes
my
human
gives me a ride on his scooter. Thus, of course, I need my
own helmet, too - after all, we do not want my pretty little head to
get hurt, do we?! |

| Here
I
am posing with a couple of cookies, though I prefer cheese balls or
other cat treats! Do not allow the wings to deceive you - I am not a
genuine
angel.... |

| My
human
carved a Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween. Together with a few autumn
leaves and smaller pumpkins we have created our own little Halloween
decoration. |

| However,
that
decoration
is not perfect without a pretty black cat, don't you
think? |

My human is a soccer
fan and I like playing paw ball with my little rubber soccer ball
- and trust me, I am really good at it!
And during the 2006
World Cup I was among the spectators, as well.

| Celebrating
the
release
of the latest "STAR
WARS" movie I am wearing a Darth Vader costume. Here I am posing with
one of my human's collectors items, an (originally remote controlled,
but no longer functional) R2D2 from 1977. |

| Don't
the
helmet and black cape suit me well? |

| Summer
or winter, I love going outside! I don't
mind rain (I like water, remember?) When the weather is too nasty my
humans sometimes wrap me in a towel. Then I look a bit like a noble
knight's horse. |

| This
dog coat is much more classy, don't you think? |

| "Black
and White": In winter my human once built a
snow cat for me - well, of course I would have preferred a live, warm
one! |

| Once
it's warmer again, I can enjoy a quiet little
sunbathe. |

| Most
people think I am "cute" and looking at my
pictures one might assume I am completely harmless, but you must not
forget: Cats are predators! |

| Occasionally
I
think I am the Lion King! |

| Like
all cats I believe that my home is MY
property. I merely tolerate the humans (who feed me and are allowed to
clean up after me), because MY HOME IS MY CASTLE! |

| From
above
I have a much better view. Which is why
I love sitting on shelves etc. from time to time. |

| Yet it
must not be too difficult to reach. I don't
jump unless it cannot be avoided. |

| Sure, the floor can be a comfortable
place, too. |

| The
carpet was put aside for cleaning purposes and
in an instant I was lying on top of it - naturally, a genuine Persian
belongs with a genuine Persian! |

| Baskets
are
always a good spot for a nap - whether
made from plastic.... |

| or
(even better) natural baskets. |

| Cats
are family members just like human
beings. When the table is laid I do of course assume, that it is laid
for me, as well. Thus I have to check it for delicacies at least.. |

Open
closets are incredibly attractive in my
opinion. Thus when one of them is open I have to rise to the occasion
and sit in it. Here I am checking out my human's mum's closet.

| Whenever
one
of my humans sits down at the desk,
less than a minite later I show up, as well to keep them company. It
doesn't bother me when I'm sitting on the papers they are trying to
look
at.... |

| However,
I
always keep an eye on things to make
sure I don't miss a thing. |

| Sometimes
there's
even something of interest to me
on the desk, such as this blackbird: |

| If a
spot, that is usually occupied is suddenly
vacant that's like asking me to fill that vacancy in a decorative way. |

| I
don't usually sit on the table, but if there are
flowers on the table to smell wild horses couldn't keep my away!! |

| Flowers
in
the background compliment my beauty
quite nicely, don't they? That's why I love sitting next to them, in
front of them, behind them, .... |

Granted,
some of my favorite resting places may seem
a littlr weird, I have to admit that. This metal basket next to our
kitchen
sink was meant for plates, not cats, OK, but I love to sit in there
anyway
- with or without flowers in the neighborhood.

| My idea
of comfortable is not necesserarily
identical with yours, you know.... |

| ....
well, in some cases it is: my human's
bed is a great place, as well! |

| Fresh out
of the bath tub, wrapped in a towel,
of course - what a great way to take a nap! |

| It is quite obvious: I LOVE
flowers. A beautiful
cat sitting amongst pretty flowers makes an even prettier picture,
doesn'
it? But I do not only enjoy to rest among the flowers in the garden, as
soon as my human puts a vase somewhere I lay down beneath it right away
- no matter whether the flowers in that vase are natural or artificial.
And trees are fun, too! |

| Summer or winter, inside the
house or out in the open: I love sitting
under trees! |
| Once in a
while I love to go for a walk.
On this picutre and the following ones you can see me exploring the
garden
of my human's parents: |

| I simply
love the great wide open. A nice little nap on the
terrace perhaps.... |

| And
flowers next to my "bed" - that makes
things even more enjoyable! I love flowers (this and the previous
picture
were taken by human's mother): |

| Ever
heard that proverb about "Buying the
cat in the bag"? Well, I can assure you - they didn't buy me in
this
one:
Still, the "catbag" is very
comfortable, as
you can see below:

| Anyway, this "cat bag" is
obviously really cozy: |

Of
mice
and me - the little mouse I am holding
between my paws is one of my toys. Even when I am not playing with it,
I'm holding on to it - just in case someone else might try to take it
away
from me (this and the following six pictures were taken by my human's
dad):

| OK, I
confess, this is not a real mouse,
just a piece of wood covered with fake grey fur, but who cares, I don't
have a lot of experience with real mice anyway - so who am I to tell: |

If
I had passports I could use this portrait
of mine for it:

| Or this
one perhaps? |

On the two
previous pictures I have chosen the window sill in my human's mum's
kitchen for my afternoon nap (taken by the mother):
And this one shows me reclining on a white pillow
on my human's couch:

| When I
have taken a bath I usually rest in
my "cubby cave" afterwards: |

Fooling
around on my human's bed,
Licking my paws.... |

| .... and
sucking my fingers, almost like a
human baby - sorry, in my case that's licking my claws really: |

| Here you
can see that even this young I had
already discovered one of my favorite places: the bath tub - and I love
it both empty AND full! |

| My human has
taken this picture a few days after
I moved in with him. I was eight weeks old at the time: |

| And this
photograph is part of the same series
- as are the previous ones: |

| Sleeping
in my dad's human's shopping basket together
with my sister: |

| In this
picture I was about six weeks old,
sitting on dad's human's couch; now my eyes had turned
green: |

| My first
picture (I was about 3-4 weeks old),
unfortunately slightly out of focus, but you can see very well that I
still
had all blue eyes at the time: |

| And
here come my personalized greeting cards:
1. Santa Cat (although I'm
not really a saint)

2. The
Catangel
(OK, I'm not an angel, either) |

| One
year later we took some new pictures and as you
can see: My wings had grown already! |

Whenever the table is
decorated I feel like I should be part of the decoration. This piece
really is great fun! I like pushing the bottom part with my paw to give
it a spin.

| And
this is my spring picture: |

My home town is
Munich and here we've got a fifth season: Oktoberfest. And, as you can
see, my human had brought me a gingerbread heart (it says "Katerchen",
German for "little tomcat") and a Bavarian hat.

| OK,
honored guests, that's it for today. Let's
call it a night - sleep tight, don't let bed-bugs bite.... |
